Brave Roots Psychology

I hold a Master of Counselling Psychology from the University of Seattle and provide therapy to children, pre-teens, adolescents, and adults. My approach is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and creating a space where you can feel safe to show up just as you are.

I draw from a range of evidence-based and experiential approaches, including Person-Centered Therapy, Trauma-Informed care, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), as well as elements of expressive arts, play, and sandtray therapy. This allows me to tailor sessions to meet you (or your child) in a way that feels supportive, engaging, and meaningful.

I have a special interest in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, OCD, ADHD, attachment and relationship challenges, body image and disordered eating, self-esteem, and burnout. Whether we are building coping strategies, exploring patterns, or creating space for emotional expression, my goal is to support you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself and moving toward meaningful, sustainable change.

Outside of my work, I often enjoy baking delicious treats, getting lost in a good book, hiking in the mountains with my husband, and snuggling with my two cats.
